On Monday, 21Soho proudly dedicated it’s first live show back to social movement #ReclaimTheseStreets and charity Rosa UK to raise awareness and funds for women and girls such as Sarah Everard, Shukri Abdi, Blessing Olusegun, Bibaa Henry, Nicole Smallman & many more around the UK. The evening showcased a diverse all female line up including Sarah Keyworth, Alice Brine, Kemah Bob, Bella Hull, Janine Harouni, Olga Koch, Jen Ives, Joanne McNally, Heidi Regan, Annie McGrath & Alison Spittle.

Despite 21Soho having to (currently) operate on a socially-distanced reduced capacity, the event raised £1605 in ticket receipts which will be donated to Rosa.

Rosa is the only UK charitable funder dedicated to supporting women's and girls' organisations, including those addressing the causes and consequences of male violence and access to justice. These organisations are the heart of everything Rosa does. It involves them in all aspects of its work to ensure resources reach where they most needed and can make the biggest difference for women and girls.

Founder of the #ReclaimTheseStreets movement Jamie Klinger attended the event: “What a way to celebrate London’s first night of opening back up. Was such a fun night, with incredible acts and a really friendly crowd. Was especially amused by the brave guy in the front row who had travelled hours to take part. We are so grateful to the comics that donated their skill and talent for our collective cause; we were touched by the generosity and it helped that everyone was hilarious.”

The first sold out show back at 21Soho was also enjoyed by viewers at home thanks to Laughing Around distributing a broadcast quality live stream direct from the venue.
