Role: Part-Time Events Assistant

Location: London (N1) & Remote

Compensation: £20k-£25 pro rata

 
A forward-thinking, rapidly growing, live entertainment group specialising in comedy, is currently looking to strengthen its team with the appointment of an Events Assistant to work across events at our two live entertainment venues 21Soho and 2Northdown. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team with big plans and play a key role in growing the company’s presence.

The Events Assistant will support the Head of Live on all live events from beginning to end, including all aspects of deal negotiations, event building, administration, contractual arrangements, event marketing, asset collation and sending settlements to acts, promoters and producers. This role combines administrative duties and artistic liaison, helping ensure that the company maintains the best possible working relationships with artists and promoters and to ensure top quality production of all events at our live venues.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Head of Live to ensure the highest quality production of all events at our live venues

  • Build events on TicketText, our in-house ticket platform, as well as third-party ticket sites, ensuring all events have correct information, timings and approved images etc.

  • Assist diary management across our two venues - 21Soho and 2Northdown

  • Prepare and send pre-event communication with audience members

  • Process, upload and follow up with invoicing

  • Assist the Marketing Manager with any event or venue marketing needs

  • Assist with running the social media channels for the venues (mainly Instagram, Twitter & Facebook)

  • Monitor ticket sales across events at both venues, communicate with acts/agents/promoters, and assist any extra marketing that needs to be fulfilled

  • Answer customer enquiries from relevant inboxes

  • Keep company online blogs up-to-date and maintain press packs

  • Attend some of our shows at our venues to capture on the night content for social media

The company is looking for a friendly team player, able to use initiative and contribute new ideas, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An interest in comedy is desirable, as well as the availability to attend evening and some weekend gigs at both TTG venues, and other venues across London.

TTG (TicketText Group) is the live entertainment group, well established in the comedy sector with operating divisions in ticketing, venue operations, promotions, and content, with a strong team that has decades of experience in all aspects of live entertainment.

TTG is made up of 4 entities, TicketText (the ticketing division) 2Northdown & 21Soho (the 2 renowned live events venues) and LaughingAround (the video production and content arm). The candidate will work across all 4 companies but will likely spend most of the week working with the 2 venues and their 1k + annual events. Our office hours are usually 10am-6pm, but some evening or weekend work may be required.
